Who are we?

Dear students, friends and site visitors,

books_colone I am Lidija Cvetanovic-Corridolo, a teacher of Italian language and culture for foreigners, the owner and founder of Lingua D'USO centre.

I was born on 12th January in Nis, Serbia, where I grew up, went to school and gained work experience, and my surname reveals the reason why I came to Italy in April 2008.

The love for Serbian and Italian people, their culture and languages as well as the desire to contribute to familiarizing with and bringing those two cultures together, which are both similar and different, initiated the idea of opening this school. I gained the experience in teaching Italian language during four-year work in school "Spell" in Nis, where I organized classes and taught Italian language to Serbian people and Serbian language to Italian nationals.

Beside me, my colleagues whose mother tongue is Italian also organize and hold courses of Italian language and culture at my school:

Paola de Donà:

26th May 1971- graduated in modern languages and literature in Bologna. She gained nine-year experience in teaching the Italian language in Hungary. Apart from Hungarian, she also speaks English, Spanish and has some knowledge of German.

Enrico Bante:

24th May 1980- has an MA in philology and literature that he gained in Verona. He has experience in teaching the Italian language to immigrants (both adults and children). He knows English and French.

Riccardo Odorizzi:

10th April 1983 – graduated in Slavic Studies at the University of Ca 'Foscari in Venice. He has experience in teaching the Croatian and Italian language. He speaks Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Russian and English whereas he also has some knowledge of Bulgarian and French.

Although our school is young and still small you will feel a friendly atmosphere created by the way the premises are organized which you will be able to experience if you choose us.

See you there!
